Function X : S.I.N - CRITICAL - DZHEIMZ & NINJA - SLAVIN at BAR IDA

In ESTONIA late ’90s and early 2000s, jungle and drum’n’bass raves were loud and unpredictable. No algorithms. No hype. Just distorted soundsystems, sweaty dancefloors, worn DJ decks, breakbeats and people who came to lose themselves in the music.

This night is a trip back to that energy — the RAW sound, the atmosphere, the DJs and the attitude. These producers helped shape Estonia’s drum’n’bass and jungle movement. and were the first to take the Estonian sound to the mecca of drum’n’bass — the UK. 2002 marked the first release on the UK label DSCI4 Recordings by S.I.N & Stare. Later followed releases by Phibbs and Mutated Forms.

No nostalgia required. SEE YOU AT THE FUNCTION.
